When using Android Emulators of any variety, you may find yourself looking to download the Google Play APK, formerly known as the Android Market APK. You can then either install the APK file directly from your Android device or use my previously outlined methods for installing apps on your Android Emulator from your PC by using ADB. Here's how to get your hands on a Google Play APK...
You can find the Android Market or Google Play APK without having to download it on most Android devices. Simply connect your device to your PC, browse to App_Manager\App-Backups\system_apps your phone's directory, and save the package named com.android.vending.apk. This won't work on all Android devices, but it's worth a shot if you can't find a recent download.
Or, you can simply click the following link for our mediafire hosted Google Play APK download.
